FAQ about spirals
What does the mm value mean?
It is the distance from one wire coil to the next – the red bracket in the sketch. The larger the distance, the thicker the pack may be, and the fewer packs fit on one spiral.
How thick may my pack be?
Rule of thumb: about 5 to 10 mm thinner than the distance. A 28 mm spiral takes bars up to about 26 mm, ideally around 21 mm. If the pack is more than 15 mm thinner than the distance, it may tip over – then choose the smaller size.
Left-hand or right-hand?
Use the same direction as the spiral already in the slot. If you are unsure, send us a photo of your old spiral via WhatsApp.
Which length do I need?
Snack machine Classic spirals are 45 cm long, Snack machine Future spirals 50 cm. For other machines: measure the old spiral end to end and ask us.
How many products fit on one spiral?
Roughly: spiral length divided by the distance, minus a little room. The numbers in the finder are guide values – depending on the pack, one more or one less.
